We’re glad you’re here! Welcome to St. Vincent de Paul Parish! We are a faith community of over 1500 families, English and Spanish speaking, with an emphasis on growing in our faith and serving the needs of others.

In the spirit of St. Vincent de Paul, we strive to live our Catholic faith in the church and the community each week. Saint Vincent was a priest of the Catholic Church who dedicated himself to serving the poor. He is venerated as a saint in the Catholic Church and the Anglican Communion. He was canonized in 1737. St. Vincent was renowned for his compassion, humility, and generosity and is known as the “Great Apostle of Charity”.

Kids & Students
Each week on Sundays at the 9 am Mass, we have
programs for children ages 3-5 called Little People’s Church and kindergarten, first, and second graders called Children’s Liturgy of the Word. Both groups of children will be dismissed after the opening prayer to hear, discuss and reflect upon the day’s readings/gospel and return at the end of the Homily.
If you prefer to accompany your child, parents are welcome to join to get your child settled.

NOTE: We do not have Little People's Church or Children's Liturgy of the Word the weekend after Thanksgiving, the week before and after Christmas for New Year's, then the week of Easter for Spring Break.

Also, we have School of Religious Education (SRE) provides the catechetical instruction and spiritual formation for children in grades one to eight attending public and parochial school. SRE meets on Wednesday evenings in the Parish Center Gym from 5:45 to 7:00 p.m. September thru May. For details about classes this year, click here. All children in the parish are invited to attend classes. Best of all, there is no fee for materials or textbooks. Parents and other parishioners are invited to become a part of our teaching staff. For information, e-mail Kathy Raines at kraines@svcape.eduk12.net or phone 335-7667.
